UN-proposed Presidency Council strongly condemned Dignity Operation attack on Taminhint Airport in Sabha on Wednesday. It said in a statement that the attack undermines peace and stability of the country and could trigger a civil war. The council confirmed it had ordered its forces to repel the attackers.

The Chief of Al-Khums Passports Investigation Department, Marwan Beshish, was killed in gun shooting in Al-Khums on Tuesday. According to local sources, Beshish was quarreling with two people in the city before he was shot dead. The chief of the city's military council, Mustafa Sultan, denied closing the coastal road over the incident.
