The Libyan American Public Affairs Center (LAPAC) called on Derna residents to provide it with details about the attacks and airstrikes carried out by Khalifa Hafatr’s militias and the damage they caused including the siege.

Military and security sources revealed Wednesday that the special French troops that are supporting Khalifa Haftar’s militias withdrew from Benghazi three days ago, saying it is possible that they come back again.

Misrata-led forces have captured Ouagadougou Conference Halls in Sirte, where IS militants were barricading as their stronghold in the city, the media office of Al-Bunyan Al-Masoos announced.After defeating IS radicals in the Ouagadougou halls on Wednesday evening, the Misrata-led forces are now combing through the area to avoid any mines and other possible risks as the remaining IS militants are still positioned in neighborhoods 1, 3 and some parts of neighborhood 2, where fierce clashes are now underway.

Dozens of ISIS militants were killed on Wednesday in a massive offensive to eradicate remnants of the radical group from Sirte. During the offensive, Misrata-led forces liberated Sirte University, Police Academy, and Al-Jiza military district. At least 20 ISIS militants were killed.

Derna Scouts Association buried four unknown bodies it received from Al-Hareesh Hospital after registering them under “unidentified bodies” category at the Red Crescent. The bodies were from Khalifa Haftar’s militias killed in clashes in Daher Al-Hamar last week.

Italy agreed to provide a field hospital with full equipment to treat the wounded in Sirte’s battles, saying it will be ready soon. The member in the Presidential Council of the UN-proposed government, Mohammed Al-Emmari, said this came after they asked Italy to provide them with the field hospital as the battle has arrived at a decisive phase and all kinds of support are needed to help uproot IS militants.

Maintenance works are underway in Al-Sedra oil port, which is the biggest oil exportation port in Libya, as part of a plan to boost Libya’s oil production. The head of the operations in Al-Waha Oil Company, Jalal Mohammed, said exportations might start in a month if the official orders were at hand.
