Agailah Saleh, the speaker of Tobruk-based House of Representatives, has threatened to sue the United Nations over its support for the UN-proposed government, London-based Alhayat newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The Sudanese News Agency reported that the Deputy Foreign Minister in Sudan, Abdulghani Al-Naiem summoned Monday the Libyan Ambassador to Khartoum, Mohammed Amer Sula and discussed with him the conditions of the Sudanese nationals stuck in Ganfouda district in Benghazi and the possible ways to create a safe passage to get them out of there.

The commander of Brigade 77 handed Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos operations room sums of Libyan and foreign cash along with gold and arms that were found in Al-Hisbah bureau, IS militants’ courthouse,  after being captured from them. Sources said the gold and money were collected by IS forcefully as ransoms and fines from the residents of Sirte.

Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos forces arrested the IS leader Khalifa Omar Al-Furjani while he was trying to escape in eastern Sirte. Al-Furjani was in charge of the IS schools and ideological lectures, which IS uses to motivate fighters and recruit new ones.

Misrata municipality and the ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina discussed Tuesday the possibility of the return of the company assigned to link the Industrial River project to Misrata’s Al-Dafiniya district. The ambassador and the municipality agreed on the mechanisms according to which the company will return to Misrata.

The media arm of the Benghazi Shura Council, Saraya Center, confirmed that three airstrikes were carried out by drones on Wednesday targeting Ganfouda in Benghazi, where more than 140 families are under direct threat of constant air attacks by Khalifa Haftar’s warplanes and foreign drones.
