A Zintan-based armed group, dubbed Rayayna Patrols Brigade, of the Petroleum Facilities Guard reopened the Rayayna oil pipeline on Wednesday after receiving instructions to do so by the western operations room of the armed forces led by Khalifa Haftar.

The council of Derna elders and the elders of the neighboring districts reached a deal Wednesday that allows fuel and cooking gas cylinders trucks to enter the city starting today after over two months of shortages due to the blockage by Dignity Operation forces.

The commander of the operations room that is fighting IS militants in Libya, Brigadier Bashir Al-Gadi, rejected the resignation of the spokesman for Al-Bunyan Al-MArsoos, Mohammed Al-Ghasri, writing on the margins of the resignation paper - Rejection, you should continue in your post - Al-Ghasri gave his resignation Wednesday saying it is because of health problems.

The spokesman for the military operation of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos, Mohammed Al-Ghasri, has resigned from his post, telling the commander of the operation that his resignation was prompted by health conditions and thus he wouldn’t be able to continue in his job.

Tripoli Municipality says it was not responsible for the cutting of trees in different areas like Zawiyat Al-Dahmani and Mizran neighborhoods. It added that the General Services Company is responsible for the cutting of trees leaving the streets in awful appearances, saying it is trying to establish contacts with different authorities to stop this uncivilized act. While the General Services Company said the cutting of trees was done as part of beautifying the appearances of Tripoli streets, saying the act is being supervised by qualified engineers and experts.

The head of the media committee of the Libyan Football Federation said the final match of the Libyan Soccer Cup has been delayed to give way for the two teams to rest from travel and prepare well for the game. It added that instead of Thursday, the game will take place on Friday at Misrata stadium at 2:30 pm with the lead of the referee, Mohammed Al-Shalmani.

Libya’s Archaeology Authority in the eastern region went over the mechanisms of repairing a US airplane that was downed in the Libyan desert during the WWII in 1943. The idea of the fixing of the airplane came in a meeting for the Head of the authority with a Tobruk municipal member, the Dean of the Archaeology Faculty in Tobruk University a number of foreign investors and others.

The UK and the IOM signed an agreement aiming at improving the living conditions for the immigrants inside the shelter centers of the Libyan Interior Ministry. The UK’s embassy in Libya said its country will fund a million and 700.000 pounds project to guarantee this agreement goes on in the right direction and the conditions of the immigrants in Libyan shelter houses get better.

Chadian Front for Change and Concord (FACT) said one of its groups was bombed by the Dignity Operation warplanes, which killed one of its fighters and two others were injured. A group of the FACT reported being bombed by an unidentified warplane on the Chad-Libya border.

The UNSC expanded the UNSMIL mandate in Libya for 9 more months so that it ends on September 15, 2017.

A humanitarian convoy was on the way to arrive in Sirte’s western suburbs and it was funded by the UNICEF and the National Reconciliation Commission, said the head of the media office at Sirte Municipality, Mohammed Al-Ameel. He added that the convoy reached 1400 families and in the coming two days another convoy will arrive in Sirte suburbs to reach 500 other families.
