The Manager of Al-Feel oilfield, Ezzideen Al-Mizweghi, said the delay of resumption of oil production at the oilfield is due to the demands of financial dues’ payments of the so-called southern Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG).

Libyan national soccer team’s management said the team has no financial backup that can allow it to prepare for the upcoming sports events, adding that the lack of governmental funding will eventually harm the national team and make it cancel the training program that is aimed at preparing the players for forthcoming competitions.

Libya’s oil production hit 622 thousand barrels per day this week, the National Oil Corporation said, adding that reopening the pipelines of Al-Sharara and Al-Feel oilfields help boost the output. It said Libya’s oil production could be boosted by 175 thousand bpd in a month and 270 bpd in three months.

Al-Thanni government of the Tobruk-based HoR allocated 17 million dollars for buying electricity from Egypt. The GECOL announced earlier that the linking Libyan-Egyptian network was activated with a capacity of 220 kilovolts in order to boost power in the eastern region.

Colonel Salim Abu Rawi, the member of the Misrata Military Council, said the support given by the Presidential Council for Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos operation doesn’t meet the operation’s sacrifices in its fight against terrorism, denouncing Dignity Operation’s airstrikes on Hun and Al-Nathori’s statements about the fighting in Sirte, adding that the essence of the Libyan army is in the western and southern regions.

Al-Salam Charity Organization in Bani Walid said it had buried 25 migrants’ bodies after having stayed in Bani Walid Hospital’s morgue. It added that one of the residents donated a piece of land for the charity to be a graveyard for burying the bodies of the illegal immigrants after they had been left in the mortuary for a long time.

Libyan national soccer team’s manager, Jalal Damja, has summoned 22 players for the friendly match against Senegal on January 08 in Congo. Two days ago, the Libyan Football Federation (LFF) canceled the match for lack of financial support, however; the match organizing company threatened to sue the LFF if the game was canceled, so the Libyan team had to accept to play.

Tripoli’s Al-Kashaf Theater hosted Wednesday the International Anniversary Celebration of the British playwright and poet, William Shakespeare, which is organized by the General Association for Cinema, Theater and Arts and the British Council as well as the Libyan cinema Club and Al-Bayt Al-Fanni for drama works.

A Civil Aviation Academy has been opened today in Misrata. This new academy is the second in Libya, added to the Civil Aviation Academy in Al-Sabia district. The new academy has two departments - aviation engineering, and airports management, while 8 other departments will be opened later.
