The member of the Constitution Drafting Assembly, Abdelmonem Al-Sahrif, said the CDA members elected Noah Al-Maghrabi as the Chairperson to succeed Ali Al-Tarhouni, who was dismissed by a court ruling. Al-Sharif added that Noah Al-Maghrabi won the post after competing against Omar Al-Naas, Maryem Al-Shaari, and Saad Taleb.

Spokesman of the Third Force, Mohammed Gliwan, said southern tribesmen efforts are underway to make Mohammed Ben Nayel leave the airbase of Barak Al-Shatti peacefully and spare the south any foreseeable bloodshed. The head of the humanitarian affairs in Derna, Abdelsalam Al-Drewi, said cooking gas cylinders are under everyone’s nose in the city after four trucks laden with cylinders have been allowed to enter Derna on a daily basis. Derna has been suffering from the lack of cooking gas for almost three months. Al-Drewi added that the fuel shortage will also end soon.

Ibrahim Bushanaq refused to accept the Minister of Justice post at the UN-proposed government after he was nominated by the Presidential Council member, Fathi Al-Mijibri.
