The Spokesman of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos forces and the UN-proposed government's Defense Ministry, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Ghasri, has revealed that there could be some sort of military operation by NATO in Libya.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Aqilah Saleh has blamed the UN-proposed government's Presidential Council (PC) for the "failure" of the accord among all parties in Libya and hindrance of the Libyan Political Agreement (LPA)

The Joint Security Room in Bani Walid town, some 180 km southeast of Tripoli, warned on Tuesday of suspicious movements of ISIS militants in the central region, pointing out that ISIS has managed to reorganize itself and secure fuel supplies and communications lines. On its Facebook page, the Joint Security Room called on state authorities to unite their efforts in order to combat the spread of the radical group in the region, demanding the officials to take responsibility in stopping ISIS attacks that have rose recently and resulted in the loss of a number of individuals.

Head of Presidential Council, Fayez Sirraj, Head of Public Services Company and the deans of the greater Tripoli municipalities have held a meeting to discuss ways of overcoming the garbage crisis in the capital. During the meeting, Sirraj promised to provide all possible support to the Public Services Company in order to solve the problem of the accumulation of trash in the streets of the capital, stressing the importance of communication and coordination with the Ministry of Local Government and other concerned authorities to in find practical solutions to the problem of garbage.

Head of Victims Organization for Human Rights, Nasser Al-Hawari, said in a press statement that a military force from the Salafist Madakhilah group has arrested 10 sheikhs from the eastern region due to their Sufism backgrounds. Al-Hawari criticised the raiding of homes at the middle of the night, using unidentified cars with no sign or logo to point to the entities they belonged to. According to the information obtained by his organization from the abductees' families, a list of 460 names from the Sufi movement in the eastern region has been prepared by the Madakhilah group.

Sabratha Military Council Chief, Tahir Gharabli, said that the government of Presidential Council did not provide any support to the Immigration Control Agency or to any battalion in the city in combating smuggling or illegal migration. He explained that the former smugglers are the ones who are fighting smuggling today, pointing out that the Italian government had concluded an agreement with a group of smugglers to regulate migration rather than fight it.

A military patrol of Tobruk military area has found 16 bodies of illegal immigrants during a routine patrol, according to the information office of Dignity Operation. The bodies were found 320 kilometres southwest of Tobruk, while search for other bodies is still underway in the area.

The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency, Tripoli branch, has deported 110 illegal immigrants to Guinea. On its Facebook page on Tuesday, the agency said that the migrants were deported through Mitiga Airport in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration. Last Monday, 99 migrants were deported to Burkina Faso via the same airport.

A source from Sharara oil field said that they are expecting resumption of production during the next two days. The source confirmed that the improved security situation in the field has prompted the field administration to call on foreign employees of European and Asian nationalities to return to their workplaces. A plane will leave on Wednesday to bring back the foreign workers, he added. Earlier, an adverse security assessment led to the evacuation of 16 foreign workers from the field on August 31.

The Minister of State for Migrant and Displaced Persons of the Presidential Council government, Abu-Bakr Jalalah, said that his government rejects any kind of settlement of illegal immigrants or establishing any temporary camps on Libyan territory. Jalalah called via local media for addressing the illegal immigration crisis and its negative impact on Libya and Europe by focusing on the countries of origin rather than transit countries including Libya.

A member of the House of Representatives for Sabha, Mohammed Matouq Ijdid, has resigned from the eastern parliament, offering his apology to the Libyan people due of what he described as a derail of the national priority. In a letter sent to local media outlets on Wednesday, Ijdid accused the political parties of trading in the homeland. 
The resignation comes amid the political crisis plaguing the country that resulted in bad living conditions in most areas of Libya, especially in the south region.

The Ministry of Education has issued a decision to send the 20 top students ranked first in Libya at the secondary level in both the scientific and literary sections abroad to complete their studies at the expense of the state. The rewards will go to the top ten from each section.

Tripoli Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency (TAIIA) has sent an urgent call to Côte d'Ivoire's government, the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the Italian Refugee Council (CIR), the Danish Refugee Council, and other international organizations to help a 6-year-old girl from Côte d'Ivoire to find her missing parents. The girl has been living in Sikka Detention Centre since December 2016. The TAIIA said they had contacted the Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire and several international organizations to help the girl, but they refused.
