NOC

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has rejected reports regarding national revenues, calling them inaccurate and misleading. The state oil company said such reports rely on unprofessional analysis and misrepresent financial data.

In a statement, the NOC stressed that oil revenues are transferred regularly to the public treasury without delay, including those for March.

The corporation attributed the slight decline in February’s revenues to calendar-related factors, noting that the month has only 28 days.

The statement also reaffirmed that fuel supplies remain uninterrupted and are distributed fairly according to a set schedule. The NOC clarified that fuel purchasing mechanisms are determined by relevant national authorities and are a purely domestic matter, unrelated to foreign media coverage.

The corporation urged local media to rely on official sources and avoid unverified reports. It also called on the Central Bank to ensure accuracy and objectivity when issuing financial statements.
