The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustapha Sanallah, has expressed optimism at the return of the Algerian oil company Sonatrach, to work at their fields situated in the Ghadames basin.
Sanallah said in a statement to Algeria Press Service that the NOC is counting on the return of Sonatrach to Libya in light of the gradual improvement of security, adding that the Algerian company has successfully achieved oil discoveries in Libya.
Sanallah concluded that many oil companies, including Sonatrach, are closely monitoring security conditions so that they can decide the right time to return.
