The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has established a new system to reduce pressure at the gas compressor station of the Green Stream Company.

Operational trials are already underway to raise the station's capacity to about 700 million cubic feet of gas per day, an increase of approximately 170 million cubic feet, the NOC stated, noting that this will help increase gas supplies to the domestic market.

The company also enhanced operations at the Sirte Oil and Gas Company via advanced equipment that would allow electronic inspections.

The operations were carried out in conjunction with the comprehensive overhaul of the Mellitah complex, as they require a complete cessation of gas pumping operations, according to the NOC.
