The head of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mashri, met with the US Special Envoy to Libya, Richard Norland and the Chargé d'Affairs, Leslie Ordman on Thursday.
The meeting, which took place at the HCS HQ in Tripoli, reviewed the UN envoy's recent briefing before the Security Council and developments of the HCS-HoR talks regarding the constitutional amendment.
Al-Mishri reaffirmed support for steps towards implementing elections under sound laws, as he emphasized the importance of adhering to a peaceful approach to political work.
