The US ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, said on Friday that he discussed with 5 members of the House of Representatives the need for a transparent and fair management of national revenues to provide basic services to the Libyan people in all parts of Libya.

"In my fruitful meeting today with five members of the House of Representatives, we engaged in a frank discussion about the ongoing efforts on the constitutional track and the importance of maintaining calm so that Libyans choose their leadership through elections." Norland tweeted.

"I look forward to continuing close contacts with the House of Representatives and the High Council of State to accelerate progress on the political track," he added.
