The head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, met on Tuesday, with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, on the occasion of the end of his mission in Libya.
The ambassador praised the important role played by the Presidential Council in achieving peace and stability in various regions of Libya, according to the Council's media office.
For his part, Menfi praised the role of the Italian ambassador, especially during his stay in Libya in recent years, despite all the circumstances the country went through, expressing his appreciation to the Republic of Italy as president, government and people.
