Members of the Libyan Intelligence Service have denounced the kidnapping of the Security Director, Brigadier General Mustafa Al-Wahishi.
In a statement, the members held what they described as the relevant authorities responsible for the kidnapping of Al-Wahishi, who lost contact after leaving his workplace at 9:00 pm on Wednesday in Tripoli, while he was on his way back to his home.
According to the statement, Al-Wahishi was kidnapped against the backdrop of investigations taking place into several cases related to incidents affecting national security, some of which are still pending, without the statement clarifying the details of these cases.
