The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ibrahim Hussein Taha, has reaffirmed the organization's keen interest to reach peaceful solutions in Libya, Yemen, Iraq and Sudan, to ensure their security, stability and development.

This came in a speech delivered by Ibrahim Taha during the annual coordination meeting of the OIC foreign ministers held in New York, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the General Assembly, aimed at unifying positions of OIC member states towards issues of the Muslim world.

In his speech, OIC Secretary-General referred to the multiple security, political and economic challenges facing the Muslim world, which require continuing joint efforts to address them within the framework of the spirit of Islamic solidarity in order to achieve stability, security, prosperity and well-being of member states.
