Minister of Oil and Gas, Khalifa Abdel-Sadiq, held high-level talks with a delegation from energy giant Shell to explore avenues for cooperation and investment in Libya's oil and gas sector.
The discussions focused on exploration, production, and the expansion of strategic partnerships. The Shell delegation included senior executives from trading, exploration, business development, and corporate relations covering the Middle East and North Africa region.
Minister Abdel-Sadiq expressed Libya’s readiness to engage with leading international companies and highlighted the importance of investing in oilfield development, boosting production capacity, and transferring technology. He stressed that such collaboration is vital for achieving economic stability and sustainable resource development in Libya.
