The UK outgoing ambassador Peter Millett said he felt very sad that the Libyan Political Agreement (LPA) was not implemented.

In a blog marking the end of his service in Libya, Millett highlighted some important details and dates that were not tackled properly.

He said personal ambitions of some Libyans got in the way of implementing the significant decisions in Libya. “It takes time to build Libya from the scratch, Libyans must be aware of the goal they aspire for and must concede for the best of the country.” Millett added.
