The Presidential Council (PC) has condemned the aerial bombardment that targeted the city of Misurata, Thursday, by foreign aircraft supporting Haftar, which resulted in a number of civilian casualties.

In a statement, the PC said that the expansion of Haftar's aggression by bombing the city of Misurata is evidence of his weakness and inability to achieve any progress on the ground, and the failure of the "crucial battle" he declared.

"These attacks will not affect "our intention to defeat the aggressor in the battlefields and eliminate his illusions of restoring totalitarian rule and controlling the Libyans," the statement reads.
