Presidential Council (PC) spokeswoman Najwa Wahiba has expressed the Council's desire to continue the important partnership with Italy in many fields, especially in the commercial sector, and to continue cooperation on the political, cultural and security levels.
PC spokeswoman indicated that the Council hopes to maintain these relations and partnerships as well with the new government led by Giorgia Meloni.
Wahiba's statements to the Italian Nova Agency came on the sidelines of the regional conference on cross-border cooperation between Libya and Sahel, which is organized by the European Union in Tunisia.
