The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Mohammed Menfi, and his deputy, Abdullah Al-Lafi, have reviewed with the Minister of Finance, Khaled Al-Mabrouk, the government's financial situation in light of the difficulties that the citizen is currently experiencing.
Both sides stressed the need to continue fulfilling the government's obligations, and to mitigate the repercussions of the global economic crisis on the economic situation in the country, according to the PC media office.
Al-Mabrouk talked about the results of his visit to the United States and his participation in the Spring Meetings of the Board of Governors of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, last April, in addition to the results of his meeting with the Deputy Secretary of the US Treasury.
