The Presidential Council (PC) said it hopes to get support from neighboring countries to hold an international conference to activate Libya Stability Initiative, according to spokesperson Najwa Weheba, who said the PC hails Algerian efforts in support of political stability and security in Libya after the meeting of PC Head, Mohammed Menfi, and Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune.

She also said the PC reiterated the need to unify visions in joint interests and conduct more coordination with neighboring countries that took part in the Algeria-hosted meeting.

"The success of diplomatic efforts led by the PC, such as the visit of the PC deputies to Algeria last June, led to this meeting after so many discussions by local and international parties and stakeholders that aim to lead Libya to lasting peace and stability." The spokesperson added.
