The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Taher Al-Baour, has discussed with the Tunisian Foreign Minister, Mohamed Al-Nafti, ways to enhance bilateral relations in all fields, and they stressed the strength of relations between the two countries "which are not open to discussion."

The two sides stressed, during a phone call on Friday, the importance of exchanging high-level visits to enhance partnership between the two countries, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its Facebook page.

This phone call followed the controversy stirred recently, when Tunisian Defense Minister, Khaled Al-Sahili spoke about the issue of demarcating the borders with Libya, saying that a joint Tunisian-Libyan committee is discussing this issue, while the Libyan Foreign Ministry confirmed that this file was closed permanently years ago.
