The Prime Minister, Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, and the British ambassador to Tripoli, Caroline Hurndall, stressed on Wednesday the importance of unifying international and local efforts to hold elections during the current year.

Both sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, reviewing developments in the political situation in Libya, according to the Government of National Unity media office.

PM Dbeibah praised the efforts of the British ambassador to activate the work of the embassy in Tripoli, and to coordinate the provision of visas to citizens.
