Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah visited Gharyan to assess damage caused by recent heavy rains and storms. During the visit, he pledged government support to repair affected infrastructure and allocated funds from the Ministry of Local Governance for urgent repairs to public facilities.
Dbeibah signed decrees upgrading the Abu Ziyan Health Centre and Al-Qawasem Rural Hospital, ensuring their full equipment, and announced measures to support water and electricity services and strengthen the Civil Safety Authority in the city.
Officials provided updates on ongoing renovations at Gharyan Hospital, with assurances that services will continue uninterrupted. The Gharyan Municipal Council briefed the Prime Minister on the extent of damage to infrastructure and vital services.
Dbeibah was accompanied by several senior officials, including the Ministers of Health, Transport, Local Governance, and Social Affairs.
