The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, has given instructions to carry out the necessary maintenance work for the National Museum in Tripoli to reopen its doors to visitors.

This came during his visit to the Antiquities Authority, during which he directed the need to submit a maintenance and development plan for the ancient cities to benefit from them in the various summer activities.

The visit aims to find out the difficulties that hinder reopening the National Museum for more than ten years.
