The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, has expressed his regret over the loss of the 600 megawatts of the electrical grid due to the closures of oil fields and ports for more than a month and a half.

"I am saddened that the two power stations in north Benghazi and Zueitina are out of service due to the continued suspension of oil and gas exports”, PM Dbeibah tweeted.

This raises the challenge before us and we will intensify work with the concerned authorities to address the problem as soon as possible, he added.
