The US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo said that Russia continues to violate the arms embargo imposed by the United Nations (UN), on Libya.

According to Reuters, Pompeo said that the goal of the United States is to continue to persuade all Libyan parties to reach a political solution through peaceful negotiations under the auspices of the UN.

He added that Russia is a threat to the stability of the Mediterranean region and it spreads disinformation in order to create chaos.
