President Umaro Sissoco Embaló of Guinea-Bissau met on Friday with Fathallah Al-Zeni, Libya's Minister of Youth and Special Envoy of Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh.
During the meeting, Al-Zeni delivered a written message from Dbeibeh addressing political coordination and bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
A government statement confirmed that President Embaló expressed Guinea-Bissau's support for the Government of National Unity's efforts for development and stability. He reaffirmed the international legitimacy of the government and noted the African Union’s backing of this position.
President Embaló extended an invitation to PM Dbeibeh to visit Guinea-Bissau, praising Libya’s plans to diversify its investments in Africa.
