The Presidential Council has issued a decision to allocate $ 30 million to national public companies in order to supply bread-making wheat to solve the crisis of the bread shortage the country is experiencing.

The resolution provided for the allocation of $ 10 million to the National Milling Company in Benghazi and $ 20 million to the National Company for Flour Mills in order to supply bread-making wheat to be distributed according to the regulations in force.

The Ministry of Economy and Industry had held several meetings with the Bakery syndicate during the past few days and presented the outcomes to the Presidential Council in order to find quick solutions to the shortage of flour in bakeries and the high price of bread.
