A delegation of ministers from the government of the Presidential Council and other government bodies visited the city of Misrata and the ghost town Tawergha on Sunday to undertake special measures for providing the urgent needs of displaced people of Tawergha in preparation for their return in February.
The delegation also visited Misrata’s "Tamina" district, south of the city, to examine the living conditions of the affected population in the region, and to remedy the failure of the competent committee to include their needs within the agreement prepared for the return of Tawergha IDPs.
The delegation included ministers of local government, interior, health, education, and heads of communications, water resources, environment and electricity.
