The Presidential Council, in its capacity as Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, held a military meeting Sunday noon with members of the Joint Military Committee (5+5) for the western region.
The meeting discussed ways to maintain the ceasefire agreement, unify the military establishment, and coordinate the work of the 5+5 committee, according to the Presidential Council statement.
The meeting followed military mobilization in the western region with the aim of responding to a possible attack by Haftar's forces on the city of Ghadames to control the border region with Algeria.
