The head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, in his capacity as the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, has met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Mohammed Al-Haddad, to discuss the latest developments in the military and security situation, especially after the clashes that took place in Tripoli.

Al-Haddad provided a full briefing about the measures he took after assigning him to follow up and supervise the ceasefire in the city of Tripoli, following the recent clashes, according to the Presidential Council media office.

Both sides stressed the need to preserve civil peace in the country and respect public and private property.
