The Presidential Council condemned in the strongest terms the killing of Sheikh Khamis Esbaga and Abdullah Nattat as they returned from a reconciliation meeting in the city of Mizdah.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Presidential Council reaffirmed that these criminal acts are contrary to all humanitarian principles and values.
The Presidential Council called on all Libyans to confront abusers of their homeland's security and stability.
