The First Aid and Emergency Service set up a field hospital in the area of Alhadhba project in Abu Salim district to provide first aid to the wounded of the confrontations in the suburbs of Tripoli.
Spokesman of the First Aid and Emergency Service explained that the step was taken following the violation of the cease-fire efforts between the warring parties, adding that they have received several communications of distress by citizens, and are working along with the Red Crescent and scouting teams to evacuate civilians caught up in crossfire areas.
He also pointed out that the service is suffering from a severe shortage of supplies, calling on the concerned parties to provide assistance as soon as possible.
