The UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, has discussed with Russian President, Vladimir Putin, a number of issues, including the situation in Libya, according to the Russian news agency Sputnik.

A statement issued by the Kremlin said that the two sides discussed in Moscow the settlement of the situation in Libya, Yemen and Afghanistan.

In a speech at the University of International Relations in Moscow, Guterres said that the discussion of these issues aims to study how the UN and Russia work together to solve crises and support the people more effectively, in addition to creating conditions to restore stability.
