The reconciliation committees at the level of Mount Nafusa and the Western region agreed to hold an emergency meeting in Gharyan city to address the current situation in the capital Tripoli.
"Preparations for a meeting are underway in the municipality of Gharyan to intervene to end the ongoing clashes in the capital," the Libyan News Agency in Tripoli quoted the head of Gharyan Reconciliation Commission, Mukhtar Ben Younis, as saying on Sunday.
Ben Younis added that the door is open to all reconciliation committees from around the country to quest for a solution to this problem, which constitutes a major cause to all Libyans.
