The Reconstruction and Sustainable Development Conference kicked off on Monday, at the Sanaa Muhaidli theater, at the Arab Medical University in Benghazi, which is supervised by the University of Benghazi under the auspices of the Minister of Public Works in the parallel government, Nasr Al-Obaidi.

In his opening speech, Al-Obaidi welcomed the guests, including representatives, ministers, and foreign guests interested in the file of reconstruction and sustainable development, stressing that sustainable development is not just slogans, but rather a real commitment that requires an effective partnership between all governmental and private sectors.

The head of the scientific committee of the conference, Adel Afkeren, gave a detailed explanation about the importance of reconstruction and sustainable development, providing examples of sustainable development in neighboring countries.
