The General Authority for Research and Identification of Missing Persons announced on Tuesday the recovery of eight unidentified bodies from a demolished building in the Al-Jiza Al-Bahriya area of Sirte.
In a Facebook statement, the authority said that its specialized teams took ten samples from four unidentified bodies at Ibn Sina Hospital to analyz them using DNA and matching them with samples from the families of victims registered in the authority's database.
The authority reaffirmed its ongoing efforts to recover and identify victims in Sirte.
