The Libyan Red Crescent, Benghazi branch, announced that it buried more than thirty-six unidentified bodies on Saturday, which were kept in the morgue refrigerator of the Benghazi Medical Centre.
On its Facebook page, the Benghazi Medical Centre pointed out that the bodies were buried under the supervision of the Red Crescent in the Hawari cemetery, noting that among the buried were unidentified body parts.
The management of the center has repeatedly appealed to the responsible authorities to develop solutions for the victim pile-up situation at the hospital's morgue.
