The emergency team of the Libyan Red Crescent carried out several evacuation operations on Wednesday to assist individuals stranded in central Tripoli, following a ceasefire announcement by the Ministry of Defense of the Government of National Unity amid ongoing clashes in the capital.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Red Crescent confirmed that evacuations took place in the neighborhoods of Al-Dhahra, Zawiyat Al-Dahmani, Al-Nofleen, and Omar Al-Mukhtar, shortly after the ceasefire was declared.

Additionally, the emergency team conducted an inspection visit to Al-Jalaa Hospital to check on the condition of patients and ensure the safety of medical staff under the current circumstances.
