The General Authority for the Search and Identification of Missing Persons has announced the discovery of three unidentified bodies in the Zallah area of Jufra, approximately 650 kilometers southeast of Tripoli.
The authority indicated that the excavation of the bodies was carried out in two groups, in coordination with the Jufra Security Directorate and in the presence of the head of the General Authority for the Search and Identification of Missing Persons.
It explained that the search team did not find any documents or personal belongings that could help identify the remains.
The investigation is still in its early stages, and the authority will conduct DNA analysis in an effort to determine the identities of the remains.
