The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, met with the personal representative of the Speaker of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR), Aqaila Salah, Abdul Basit Al-Badri, in Russia’s capital Moscow.

The discussions focused on the political settlement of the present Libyan crisis, within the framework of the decisions outlined at the international conference in Berlin, along with the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution, according to a statement by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The Russian Foreign Ministry recently confirmed the necessity for all political players in Libya to engage in a comprehensive dialogue in order to end years of conflict.
