The Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abu Bakr Al-Taweel, has met with the Russian Ambassador to Libya, Aydar Aghanin, to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two countries, according to the media office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity.
The ambassador affirmed Russia's desire to support bilateral relations between the two countries, noting that the Russian embassy will soon begin its work from its new headquarters in the capital, Tripoli, and his country's aspiration for the Libyan-Russian joint committee to be held in the coming days.
