The Russian Strategic Center for Cultures described the situation in Libya as "fragile, carrying numerous repercussions."
In a recent report, the Centre stated that the United States, in cooperation with its NATO ally Turkey, is directly involved in Libya and intends to create complications for the Russian Federation's presence in this strategic region.
The report cited Libyan National Security Advisor Ibrahim Bushnaf, who believes that terrorism has been repelled in Libya. However, he identifies illegal immigration from the Horn of Africa countries as the primary threat, along with illicit trade in humans, weapons, and fuel.
