Sahara Bank ensures customers "savings are safe" after nearby building goes up in flames

The Sahara Bank has contradicted news that its branch in the Hay Al-Andalus district west of Tripoli caught fire which engulfed its treasury.

In a Facebook statement, the bank ensured customers that their savings were safe and unharmed.

The bank went on to explain that the image of the fire circulated on social media was in a nearby building not affiliated with the bank.
