The Libyan Foreign Minister, Mohamed Sayala discussed with the Iraqi Foreign Minister, Fouad Hussein, the possible return of the Iraqi embassy, along with the resumption of its work in Tripoli.

This came during a meeting on the sidelines of an extraordinary session of the League of Arab.

The Libyan Foreign Ministry stated that both sides discussed bilateral relations and methods to support and develop them, in addition to the possibility of reopening the Iraqi embassy in Tripoli.

The meeting also dealt with regional and international issues of mutual interest, along with developments in the situation in Libya.
