The Coastal Security has seized a quantity of cannabis estimated at 20 kg on the shores of Tripoli.

The Ministry of Interior said that a patrol of the Coastal Security found the drugs by chance during a search operation for Osama Abu Lamida, one of the two fishermen who went missing last week at sea.

It confirmed that initial measures were taken while the seized material was referred to the Narcotics Control Agency to complete the legal procedures regarding the incident.
