The counter-narcotics authorities on Tuesday said they arrested one of the most "notorious" drug traders.

The security services received information that a Libyan national was selling drugs on a large scale in Tajoura district east of Tripoli.

After gathering information, the perpetrator turned to be one of the most wanted drug dealers in the area, with a criminal record of theft, abuse, and violent acts, according to the counter-narcotics authorities.
