A spokesman for Operation Volcano of Rage announced the injury of seven members of the Field Engineering Brigade, following the explosion of mines and improvised explosives laid by Haftar militias and Russian Wagner mercenaries as they were forced to flee positions occupied by them in southern Tripoli.

This comes merely two days after the announcement by the Volcano of Rage Operation’s room, of the injury of Colonel Fathi Al-Hosh, from the Military Engineering Department, and several of his colleagues in similar operations, while attempting to neutralize mines and explosives in order to pave the way for residents to return to their homes.

It has also been reported that despite warnings by Army officials not to return to their dwellings until the ‘all-clear’ was sounded, several civilians were killed and injured whilst attempting to ascertain the damage done to their homes by Haftar’s militias.
