Sources at the Oil Crescent region have confirmed that export operation in the oil ports were ceased for several hours yesterday, due to severe weather conditions, high waves, and an uptick in wind speed, according to local media sources.
The closure step was a precaution to avoid any technical problems in the future and for the safety of employees, the sources explained.
